I help people close the gap between what they believe and how they live.

I’m Sean Hegarty. I wrote The Sean Method, I speak, I coach, and I founded Hegarty House, after more than 25 years in emergency response, healthcare and public service.

Where I’m coming from

For more than 25 years I worked in emergency response, healthcare and public service. I was a paramedic, I supervised clinicians, I kept safeguarding at the centre of the work, and I led teams through change, including the COVID response.

Most of it came down to the same thing: helping people work out what matters when the pressure is on, and what to do next. That’s still the work. It just happens in different rooms now.

My Christian faith sits underneath all of it.

The Sean Method

When Life Works but No Longer Feels Fully Yours

A thoughtful place to begin when life looks fine on paper but something no longer quite fits. It’s a practical expression of how I think about work, life and doing things in a way that still feels like yours.

A room is better when something actually happens in it.
