Who is responsible
This website is operated by Hegarty House Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 16080519), at 6 Wymbush Crescent, Bristol, England, BS13 0BB. Hegarty House is responsible for website operation and general, book and speaking enquiries. ICO registration: ZB934746.
Sean Hegarty handles UW enquiries in his separate capacity as an independent Utility Warehouse Partner. UW itself is responsible for information submitted directly to its systems under its own privacy notice.

What this site collects
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, topic and message. Speaking enquiries may include an event date, location and audience information. The message also includes the page you enquired from and the time of submission.
The hosting service may record technical details such as IP addresses, request times and browser information for security and operation. The form uses a short-lived session and a hashed network identifier to help prevent abuse. Please do not submit account numbers, payment details or sensitive personal information.
Why information is used
Information is used to read and answer your enquiry, arrange a conversation and, where requested, take steps towards a booking or service. The relevant lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or legitimate interests in responding to correspondence and running a secure website. Information is also retained where needed to meet legal obligations.
An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. No decision producing a legal or similarly significant effect is made solely by the form.
How long it is kept
Correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up and maintain an appropriate business record. Relevant booking, accounting or legal records may be kept longer where obligations or potential claims require it.
Form security tokens expire after one hour. Session cookies last for the browser session. The temporary anti-abuse counter is reset after one hour; any superseded temporary files may remain until removed by hosting maintenance. The form does not store the contents of your message in a website database.
International processing
Hosting and email suppliers may process information outside the UK. Applicable transfer arrangements and safeguards depend on the service and location involved. Contact Sean for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent. Some rights are subject to conditions or exceptions.
You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. We may need to verify your identity before responding to an information request.
